Before Jimmy racked up multiple Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series National Championships and crown jewel Late Model wins, he terrorized the country in the cockpit of an Open Wheel Modified. He is a 4-Time UMP National Modified Champion (1998, 2000, 2001, 2002) and his '02 Championship was worth a record $100,000. Jimmy is the proud owner of close to 200 career Open Wheel Modified victories including a remarkable 49 triumphs in 1999 in only 65 starts!
